•Vertical frosted-glass fins to intercept low east and west sun
•Horizontal overhangs to control high south sun
•High performance clear glass to control heat gain yet maximize visible light
•Environmentally friendly materials such as recycled steel, aluminum and concrete
•Site cleanup and reuse of demolition materials
•Bike parking and other traffic-demand mitigation strategies
•On-site amenities to discourage peak-time automobile use
•Water conservation via native and drought-tolerant plants
•Significant portions of parking located within structures to maximize landscape, minimize exposed asphalt and thus reduce the heat island effect
•Permeable pavers to further control storm water runoff
•The ability for photovoltaic panels to be integrated into garage trellis structure
