Western Athletic Clubs will enter the Marin marketplace with this adaptive reuse project. Form4 Architecture and Orlando Diaz-Azcuy Design collaborated to reinvent the former JC Penny's store in Corte Madera Town Center into a flagship athletic club.

Form4 designed the new facade and converted an existing loading dock into an indoor lap pool. Moving from simple 1952 "big-box" retail to the relatively complex club required code upgrade and considerable coordination with the adjoining tenants.
